Belkis, who goes by Belle, is a legal secretary and a vital part of the firm’s day-to-day. She answers calls from new and existing clients, manages the physical case files, and is in the office ready to support her coworkers however she can. She joined the firm a month ago, fresh out of college, and has embraced the chance Barry Janay took on her to learn the field from the ground up. She’s the person to find when something needs to be filed, found in the files, or run to the bank. And she’s proud of how far she’s come already, putting her college learning to work in her first office role and growing more confident every day.

Behind the Scenes
Belle is based in Central Jersey and recommends hitting the beaches in the summer. Outside of work she cares for her grandmother full time, trains Muay Thai, hits the gym, and spends time with her dogs, Lilo and Stitch. A self-described homebody and foodie, her ideal Saturday is cooking a good meal at home, and her guilty pleasure is ice cream by the bay. Here’s the one that makes people do a double take: she’s modeled for an agency since age 15, with music videos and fashion shows to her name. She speaks both English and Spanish, her first language and the one that tends to slip out when she’s excited.
